San Mateo Gymnastics proudly presents our yearly Summer gymnastics Camps. We welcome gymnasts of all skill levels to come join us for a summer full of fun! At San Mateo Gymnastics, our camp is focused on learning and performing your gymnastics skills. Gymnasts will use all aspects of the gym including TumbleTrak, pits, trampolines along with other Olympic apparatus.

We are excited to welcome our Co-ed camp for girls/boys age 4.5 -12yo.

Any child not currently/previously enrolled will also needs to complete our Gym Registration/Release of Liability, rules & policies and Covid forms.

8:50-9:00 DROP OFF - OPEN GYM

9:00-10:00 Gymnastics Rotations

10:00-10:20 SNACK TIME (Bring your own snack)

10:20-11:50 Gymnastics Rotations

11:50-12:20 LUNCH (Bring your own lunch)

12:20-1:00 After Lunch Activity Time

1:00 -2:00 Gymnastics Rotations

2:10-2:30 Pick Up

FAQs

How safe is it?

We have highly trained staff that has gymnastics experience. Many of our staff were gymnasts and they have come back for the summer to do what they love best - coach! Each of the instructors has their own unique way of coaching and was properly trained to teach how to fall, jump and land safely.


What does my child wear?

Girls in a leotard (tight-fitting leggings and shorts are optional) No skirts are allowed. Hair must be pulled back away from the face with a soft headband or hair tie. Remove all jewelry and accessories around neck, arms, and legs; post-earrings are acceptable, nothing that dangles below earlobe.

How safe is gymnastics camp?

We have highly trained staff that are able to coach and perform many of the basic gymnastics skills. Staff have been trained in correct landing and falling techniques as well as basic emergency procedures. Many of our staff were gymnasts and they have come back for the summer to do what they love best - coach!

What should my child bring?

Your child must bring a snack, lunch, and filled water bottle to camp everyday. Please have all personal items labeled and no glass containers, refridgerated items or microwavable items.


Can I stay and watch my child?

To ensure we limit the amount of guests in the gym, we ask that only 1 adult per child escorts them into the gym. We also ask that no siblings enter the facility.

During the camp day, no spectators are allowed in the gym.

My child takes medication. Can they bring it to camp?

Yes. Please feel free to speak with your child’s instructor. We will help your child properly take their medication and at the appropriate time. We also will hold the medication for you throughout the week if you would like, so you do not have to bring it every day.
