Level 8 Girls Finish Season at Region 1 Regionals in Phoenix, Arizona
The level 8 girls finished their season this weekend in Phoenix, Arizona. With a night session where the lights went out and a teammate now advising everyone to only eat at Mexican restaurants that have lots of customers, it was a memorable meet!
The NorCal team took 3rd place to SoCal and Nevada. San Mateo scores to note: Ann Marie 9.6 vault, 9.8 bars, 9.525 beam, 9.575 floor, 38.5 all around; Katie H. 9.675 vault, 9.5 beam, 9.75 floor, 38.35 all around; Emily 9.625 vault, 9.65 bars, 9.5 floor, 38.175 all around; Bella 9.55 vault, 9.6 bars; Riley 9.6 vault.
