Girls Munchkin Recreational Classes (under 6 years)
San Mateo Gymnastics is excited to announce limited, small group classes of 6 children maximum.
Class lengths have been adjusted to 50 minutes to allow for sufficient time for entering/exiting the facility and prepare for the next groups arrival.
Munchkin & Me
A fun parent and child class for children 2 - 4 years old. The ratio is 1 adult to 1 child for the safest and most productive class. This class helps children get acquainted with the gym and their bodies!

Example of the skills learned:
Bridge on the floor
Handstand against the wall
Beginner cartwheel
Basic skills on the bars such as front support, cast, and forward dismount
Introduction to walking and standing skills on the balance beam
Munchking One
A program for preschool age students 3.75 years old+ or have minimal gymnastics experience and must be able to separate from parent.
