SMG Elite Hopefuls Compete in Pennsylvania

Last weekend, four of our gymnasts went to Allentown, Pennsylvania for National Qualifiers. Lillian Lewis, Sophie Parenti, and Mia Heather competed in the junior elite division, while Tiana Sumanasekera competed in the Hopes 12-13 year-old group. This was a return to competition for Lillian and Sophie this year.Although the gymnasts did not make the minimum qualifying scores to compete at the American Classic and the U.S. Classic, the next steps in the elite series this summer before U.S. Championships, they are headed to Auburn, Washington, this coming weekend to give it another shot. Let’s all wish them luck!
