SMG and the SMG Boosters will newest tradition, the San Mateo Gymnastics Boys Invitational will be back again in 2014, better than ever! SMGi will once again be held at the beautiful Red Morton Community Center in Redwood City, California. The Red Morton Community Center is an outstanding venue for gymnastics competitions. It offers plenty of room for gymnasts, spectators, coaches and judges. It offers plenty of bleacher-style seating, a first rate snack bar, separate hospitality rooms for coaches and judges, ample free parking, and it's easily accessible from US 101 and I-280. TECHNICAL SEQUENCES: SMGi14 will be offering a Technical Sequences ("TS") session for Optional gymnasts. The Technical Sequences are part of the 2013-2016 USAG Junior Olympic Program, Junior Elite Division. The TS session will be open to all Optional gymnasts, but not required. Optional gymnasts (Levels 8, 9, and 10) can participate in the regular Optional sessions, the TS session, or both! There is a discount for participating in both sessions. Scoring for the Optional and TS sessions will be separate; scores will not be combined for award purposes. Don't miss this opportunity for your gymnasts to get a feel for the Technical Sequences in competition before States!

Registration for SMGi13 is closed. Registration for the 2014 San Mateo Gymnastics Invitational will open in July. Until then, a $100 deposit will reserve your club's spot in SMGi14. Sessions filled, and registration closed in early-November last season! Sessions will close as they are filled. Don't miss out; register early for SMGi14! SPACE IS LIMITED!
