Mission
The SMG Boosters Club is a non-profit corporation open to all individuals, organizations and businesses in support of SMG competitive gymnastics teams. Principle objectives of the Boosters Club are:
- To foster and support amateur gymnastics through educational activities.
- To raise and allocate funds for gymnastics activities.
Purpose The purpose of the Boosters Club is to raise funds to support gym teams, help pay expenses, help run home meets and to support the gymnasts. The Boosters Club plays an integral part in the quality of the gymnastics experience for our gymnasts.
Goals San Mateo men's and women's teams compete in home and away meets leading to zone, state, regional, and national championships. SMG and Boosters Club are joining in an effort to increase support for Elite level and training programs. This will provide the opportunity for local gymnasts to participate in National and International competitions with U.S. Olympic Team membership as an option for truly motivated athletes.
In order to achieve this goal, SMG staff and Boosters are initiating an expanded program of development, education and fundraising.This program will provide for the enhanced facilities, equipment, training and support required by Internationally and recognized competitive athletes.
The Booster Club welcomes tour participation and contributions. Feel free to leave a note for us with the receptionist. Ask about E-Scrip and designating San Mateo Gymnastics Booster as your recipient!
